Who is
Kevin Clark
Kevin Clark is a retired U.S. Army Special Forces A-Team operator and Civil Affairs Officer, as well as a combat veteran who served around the world during his military career. His service included working with local communities to build schools, hospitals, and essential infrastructure, helping strengthen stability and opportunity in regions affected by conflict.
Kevin previously served as Chairman of the Richmond County Democratic Party. He has also run for public office in North Carolina, including Richmond County Board of Commissioners in 2022 and in 2024 for North Carolina State Senate District 29.
He has been a lifelong activist, shaped by the civil rights, women’s rights, and peace movements of the 1960s and 1970s. Those experiences instilled in him a deep belief in equality, justice, and the responsibility of government to serve the people — not special interests.
Now seeking to represent North Carolina’s 8th Congressional District, Kevin Clark is running as a servant leader committed to listening to constituents and carrying out their priorities. He believes effective representation means accountability, integrity, and putting the needs of working families and local communities first.

Reduced extracurricular activities
Lower-quality school meals
Fewer sports and enrichment programs
Longer bus routes and aging transportation fleets
Financial strain on counties, leading to higher property taxes
When schools suffer, communities suffer. Underfunding education increases poverty, weakens workforce readiness, and limits opportunity for the next generation.
Kevin Clark’s Plan:
Increase federal education funding for North Carolina schools
Actively support and help secure federal education grants
Advocate for compliance with North Carolina’s constitutional obligation to fully fund a basic education
Support leaders at every level who prioritize public education
Strong schools build strong communities.
The U.S. Constitution calls on the government to “promote the general welfare.” Kevin Clark believes that means making life affordable again for District 8 families.
